Home Depot Buys SIMPL Automation to Speed Same-Day Fulfillment

Home Depot has acquired warehouse automation startup SIMPL Automation to accelerate its supply chain automation and enhance same-day and next-day fulfillment capabilities. The deal follows a successful pilot program that demonstrated SIMPL's ASRS and AI robotics technology can improve pick speeds and operational efficiency.
